When Mom camed home yessirday, Ai wuz glad to see her but better tahn taht wuz mai PetGurl camed in behine her!

 PetGurl! PetGurl! Ai lvs mai PetGurl! She is so sweet! Ai let's her pick me up. Nobody kin pick me up liek PetGurl!

We go to a room where only PetGurl open teh door and Ai kin nap on PetGurl laundry and git PetGurl hed rubs and PetGurl chin rubs. PetGurl givs me moar food in mai bowl. Ai git so full of cat food, cat treetz and cat rubs when PetGurl iz arown. If Ai wanna go owtsides & come bak insides in 5 minutes, PetGurl will lemme and PetGurl will watch teh door fur me and sit owtsides fur me!

Winston goes to hide wehn PetGurl is arown. She iz still a stranger to him. Taht is anudder plus fur having MAI PETGURL come to see me!

W'en Ai got frone owt teh hows wiht teh furrrnitchur, Aunt Carol cudda callded aminul contro fur me, butshe took me 2 hr hows & Ai meeted mai PetGurl. Who knowd Aunt Carol wud tek me 2 Mom, Poppa & PetGurl's hows? Yep, Ceiling Cat wuz looking owt fur me!

So Ai'm finking, Ceiling Ca iz looking owt fur Winston, too. Ai seed him on Faysbuk & Mom went 2git him outta CAAWS wher tehy iz berry mice 2 kittehs but Winston wuz not adjustin' well. Ah knos sum  ov yas enfants--yungun's gots new bebe kittehs fo Crispmouse. Ah hopes you keep 'em safe! Ah mades a list pour vous, mes amis!

• It do look so kyoot but if you tink you gotta dress you bebe kitteh in clothes, tek a pichurs den git dem clothes offen dat bebe! Cats kin git in places w'at will git dem trapped & choked in clothes so dont leev dem bebes dressed to kill.
• Pick up dem lektrical cords. Bebe kittehs lieks playin wit strang, ropes & cords so if it got lektristy runnin' troo it, cher, move it, hide it & iff you cain't move it put sum Louisiana hot sauce on it wit' a cotton ball, yeah. Sown crezzy but eben if we cats frum Sud de Louisianne --South Louisiana--cain't tek hot sauce! Affer a while you bebe kitteh be tinkin all lektrical cords tays liek hot sauce a& dey leevs 'em alone.
• Put tin furl--you know --aloomnum foil up on teh kitchen conters--speshly where de stove be. If der sumplays you dont want cats 2 jump up on, put furl on it. We dont liek to walk on it.
• If you drops a pill find it and pick it up. Bebe kittehs liek to fine stuff wat roll 2 play wit & may put in their mouf.
• No table food! Ah kno de TV cartoons say we luvs teh tays ov fish & mice, but we goes crezzy fur yor chikun dinner cookin'! Dont keer how we beg, feed teh food made fur us. No chikun bones needer! Cows milk be med fo bebe cows so unless you wanna see w'at a bebe kitteh wit a bad stommick look liek, dont giv bebe kitteh's milk! Der is speshul food fur teh bebe kittehs wherever catfood is sold.
• Keep teh bebes inside unless you kin go owt wit 'em. Keep away frum fam'ly car! If you try keepin' bebe kitteh where you keep you car, when it's cold teh car engine stays warm for quite a while. Bebe kittehs may crawl up in the tire well or close 2 teh engine and be hurt bad or worser w'en you goes 2 start you car. Bes' is to keep bebe in teh hows wit' teh fam'ly.

Mai Mom & Poppa R gonna do another Kairos Prizzin Min'stry. Taht meeens they will b gone ebber Caturday fur meetings until on wun ov tohse weekends tehy will be gone fur abot 4 days, sumtiem N June, 2 go visit teh men in prizzin.. Taht's teh way it yooshully goes . Tehy havunt dun wun fur a while but they hav been doing uddder t'ings. Ai fink Ai herd Poppa say tihs will B teh only wun tihs yeer. Mom haz been way too bizzy at work & affer wurk 2 do moar tahn wun eben if tehy had moar tahn wun tihs all she cud do.

Ai hate waiting fur tehm 2 come home but it also meens Ai will see moar of PetGurl! 

Ennyway, Mom sez, udder peepuls cud help. Liek, tihs next Caturday, tehy cud volunteer 2B on the team wit' her & Poppa. Tihs is teh cut-off Caturday fur joining teh teeem. All peepuls haz 2 do is go ober to Furst Mewnited Mefodist Church (930 N. Blvd., Baton Rouge) fur 8:30 in teh moarnin' & fillout a paper & sit down so eberbody kin welcome U & U git sum exer-sizes taht help U wit what 2 do.

Tehn teh day affer church day, Mom wuz gitting her car reddy b'cuz it is full of skool & church stuff but she not go 2 wurk.  Ai'm finking, Yay! Mom's gonna be wif me all day! 


Soemtiem she leev owr bed wif teh blankees curled liek Ai liek it tehn she fix 'em strate wif mai favrit blankee at the bottom. Ai chase the covers an haz fun pulling & getting unner sheets when she duz taht! Well, she not fix 'em strate taht day. She lef' me on teh bed all bai maiself! What's going on, Mom?

She put moar dry food in mai bowl. But when sun tern off, she not come bak. PetGurl dint come fur me eefer! Ai hurd sumpn' abot Poppa. Mebbe she go 2 git him home. Ai dunno. All Ai know wuz Ai wuz bai maiself fur  way 2 long!

Nobuddy wuz fur givving me hed & chin rubs. Nobuddy wuz fur letting me owt 2 catio & bakyard. Nex' moarnin', late, Mom runs in, feeds me, givs me kwick hed rubs & runs bak owt fur wurk. *BIG sigh.*

Mom camed bak jus' b4 sun tern off. She hav some xtra treet fur me & tell me she went 2 see Poppa at hospitul. She sez Poppa iz litle betta but he cannot come home yet. Moar testing fur Poppa. Ai hope he mek a 'A+' & come home soon.

OK, Ai feel betta knowing Poppa  iz feeling a li'l betta & Ai haz Mom to sleep on. Ai sleep on her all nite... until Ai wake her fur gitting mai breffass!

HALP! TEH VET!

Ai hate car rides. So much Mom had not ebber taken me owt n mai carrier. But Ai figyurd sumpn wuz goin' on w'en Ai hurd Mom tell PetGurl 2 come ober & git me reddy whil Mom & Poppa went 2 church.  Hmmm. Kyurious but not disturbin'...yet.

Mom rushed home frum church wiffowt Poppa & she & PetGurl put me in carrier wif mai favrit toy & a soft blanky. Then they put me N the lod fing Ai avoid teh most: TEH CAR!!Mom sed since Ai'm going owtsides moar, eben if jus' n bakyard Ai needs 2 go 2 vet. Ai luvs teh car b'cuz it brings home Mom ebber day and sumtiems mai PetGurl but it meks noise & is too big $ now Ai wuz going INSIDE IT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Ai sed NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO all teh way on teh trip! PetGurl unzip the carrier a li'l bit 2 rub mai hed but Ai still sed NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! All teh way!

Then they took me & mai carrier in a place Ai hurd Mom call PetSmart. Ai cud see all kind ov goggies & Ai cud hear kittehs & goggies. Teh lady at teh desk wayted me on a tabul & sed she wud wayted my carrier bai itself later. She sed Ai wuz a gud wayt at 9.2 powns. Sge sed Mom did gud wif mai diet. Hmmmm. Ai cud stan moar food w'en Ai ax, wayt or not!

Later, tehy took me N anudder room Ai did not liek. Ai got 2 git outta the carrier & Ai wnated PetGurl to hold me. Ai hadda sit on this iron table that smelled like goggie, kittehs & cleener. Eben tho' teh lady wuz nice Ai wuzn't 2 ken on her lookin' all ober mai body. Then she took me away 2 a bak wif anudder lady who look at may eyes, mai meowf & udder parts. Tehn they brot me bak 2 Mom & PG & that when Ai fown mai chance 2 crawl bak in mai carrier where nobody cud tuch me, espeshly teh big goggies Ai cud heer barking sumwhers.

That's when, among udder ting they talk abot teh nurse & dokter tell Mom & PG that the furs owners musta ment 13 months nsted of 13 years B4 they lef me at the 'partment wher Aunt Carol camed 2 get me owt. So mai eye tess sed Ai'mnot 17 but mebbe 5-7 years old--moar likely 7! So, Ai'm reely middle age & not elderly cat! Mom, PG & Poppa r happy b'cuz That means Ai kin b arown longer 2 own them!

Poppa's Surmin & Homeless Anipals

Wall, Furrends, you know mai story of being lef' at a 'partmunt al bai maisef. Ai feel so fur anipals wiffowt homes. Ai git oberwhelmd b'cuz Ai see so menny on line & Ai try 2 spred mews. Ai shared 3 jus' this moarnin' on mai FB page & a few on Twitter. Ai haz 2 take break b'cuz 2day iz oberwhelming & not eben teh sun is owt heer frum teh reel rains. 

Ai gits sad abot it. But mebbe if Ai shar--u nebber kno...mebbe sumone will see & mebbe if jus' 1 anipal is safe, iz wurf it.

Then Ai mewmember Poppa wuz gittin' attak 2 weeks B4 his surmin yessirday. But he dint stop wurking on it. Las' nite it pay off. Poppa din't say "Ai'm gonna stay away & not giv this messich. Too much trubble!"  Mom sed it wuz reel gud & peepuls wuz reely int'rested & sum sed they Xper'ence & knew w'at he was talkin' about! They eben sed so 2 him affer servis! 

So, Ai wont giv up telling peepul 2 take homeless anipals home & be responsibul wif dem so there wont B so menny homeless anipals..

 Then, of kors, Ai will kontinyu 2B silly, too! Jus' finking of mew song wif toon of OOOOOOOOOKlahoma w'er teh wind comes sweepin' down the plains!...
